Low Barns

This Durham Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve is adjacent to the River Wear, upstream from Escomb and Bishop Auckland.  The reserve has a wide range of habitats including wet woodland (Alderwood), grassland (West Pasture), open water and of course the River Wear.
